This is beer. What can we say...
Well, since I'm German, quite a lot. We have, in fact, written books about it! We have laws governing how beer can be made. We have parties in its honor! It has its own category in our food pyramid. You can't just order a "beer" either - you'll be asked by your waiter to be a lot more specific. And we do, on occasion, paint pictures of it to hang up on our walls. To remind us of times when there was beer, and times when there could be beer again.
I painted this for the Colored Glass Challenge. Ok, so it's not exactly colored glass, but it's a glass colored by beer so I'm hoping to get by on a technicality :)
