This is one of my personal favorites! It's not flashy at all, and that's why I like it. The composition is really simple, with just the shape of rocks against the horizon really standing out. All values are either dark or light, and both groups are fairly close together. It was a challenge to create shapes and variety out of such a limited palette.
Overall, it's the subtleties I really like about this one. It shows I've learned a thing or two in the 7 months of painting before I got to this point.
