3 Failures
Well, 3 failures in a row sure tests you... let's see what we've learned shall we?
Painting 1:
- Do not make your entire painting the same value.
- Atmospheric perspective (depth) is important. Let's use it next time.
- Some sort of lighting would've been nice.
Painting 2:
- Do not, NOT use a purple underpainting for a landscape. Ever. And if you do, do NOT paint over it while it's still wet, it'll kill all your other colors.
- Careful with saturation in greens. They're always less saturated than you think!
Painting 3:
- Flat values makes flat painting.
- At some point you have to commit to some shapes, which I didn't do in the entire right half of the painting.
