I found this reference and absolutely loved the contrast in hues - blue vs orange. It's something I've only ever used by accident. It adds such life to a painting.
It took a few tries to get the colors right (looking at you, Pthalo Blue!), but eventually I got something I'm pretty happy with. The hardest part was to keep my values flat enough so that the colors could be the stars.
