Redcurrants Again

Redcurrants Again (4x4")

Redcurrants are fast becoming my favorite thing to paint because of their bold colors and shiny surface. Putting those highlights on at the end of a painting session just feels great!

This one went a lot better than my first try. I dampened the green background, and mixed in yellows and browns for variety. I'm really happy with how much the brilliant red of the redcurrants pops.
